Where in Canada do you offer your services?

We are based in Surrey, BC, but we work all across the country! From the busy streets of Toronto and Vancouver to the territories in the North, we supply and install surfaces for families, schools, and businesses nationwide.

Is artificial turf safe for my pets?

Absolutely. We love pets! Our residential turf is designed to be durable and pet-friendly. It features excellent drainage for easy cleanup and is made from non-toxic materials, so your dogs and cats can play safely all day long.

Can the turf handle our cold Canadian winters and snow?

Yes, it’s built for it. Our surfaces are engineered to handle the freeze-thaw cycles of the Canadian climate. Snow won’t damage the turf; you can let it melt naturally or gently shovel it off if you need to use the area.

How much work is it to keep the turf looking good?

Very little! That’s the best part. You can say goodbye to mowing, watering, and fertilizing. A quick spray with a hose to move dust or a light brush with a plastic rake to keep the blades standing tall is usually all it takes.

Does the surface get too hot in the summer sun?

Like any outdoor surface (including sand or pavement), turf can get warm in direct sunlight. However, we use modern materials that help dissipate heat, and a quick sprinkle of water from a hose can cool it down instantly for bare feet or paws.

How safe are your playground surfaces for kids?

Safety is our top priority. Our playground turf and rubber surfacing are specifically designed to absorb the impact of falls. We follow strict safety standards (like CSA) to make sure your play area is as soft and protective as possible.

Can I use one court for more than one sport?

Definitely! We specialize in “Multi-Sport” courts. We can design a single surface with different colored lines so you can switch from basketball to pickleball or volleyball without needing a whole new court.

Is artificial turf a better investment than real grass?

While the initial cost is higher than sod, most people find it pays for itself in a few years. You’ll save significantly on water bills, lawn mower gas, fertilizers, and – most importantly – your own time.

Will my yard flood when it rains?

Not if it’s installed correctly. We take great care in “base preparation.” This means we build a drainage system under the turf that allows water to soak through much faster than natural soil would, keeping your yard puddle-free.

Do your sports fields meet professional standards?

Yes, they do. We build fields that meet the requirements for FIFA (soccer), World Rugby, and the NCAA. Whether it’s a community park or a university stadium, we bring professional-level quality to every project.

How long does a typical installation take?

It depends on the size of the project, but a standard residential backyard usually takes about 2 to 4 days. Larger sports fields or commercial projects take longer, and we’ll give you a clear timeline before we start.

Can you help with more than just the surface, like lighting?

Yes! We are a one-stop shop. We can handle the “civil work” (getting the ground ready), the fencing, and even professional sports lighting so you can keep the game going after the sun goes down.

How long will my new surface last?

With just a little bit of care, our high-quality turf and rubber surfaces typically last between 15 to 20 years. They are built to be tough and stand up to years of heavy foot traffic and play.

Can I see and touch the materials before I decide?

We’d love for you to! We offer product samples and spec sheets so you can feel the quality and see the colors in your own space before making a commitment. Just reach out to us to request a sample.

What makes Surface Suppliers different from a regular landscaper?

We aren’t just landscapers; we are specialists in technical outdoor surfaces. We understand the engineering behind drainage, safety standards, and high-performance athletics, ensuring your project is built to last, not just look good for a season.
