Your 1-Stop Supplier & Installer of all surfaces

Delta’s low-lying terrain is the defining factor in every outdoor surface project we do here, and it’s something we think about from the first site visit. North Delta sits at higher elevation with firmer, better-draining ground. But Ladner and much of Tsawwassen sit on low-lying land with clay-heavy soil that holds moisture, and in some areas there is a peat influence in the soil profile that complicates drainage further.
In these conditions, the water table can sit close enough to the surface that a standard drainage design simply won’t perform the way the installer expects. Water that can’t exit the sub-base sits beneath the turf or court surface, softening the base, accelerating settlement, and eventually causing the surface above to deform. We’ve seen this on improperly installed surfaces across the Lower Mainland, and Delta is one of the areas where it happens most predictably when drainage is treated as an afterthought.
For any synthetic turf or sports court project in Ladner or low-lying Tsawwassen, we assess soil conditions and water table characteristics as part of the design process. The sub-base profile and drainage layer are engineered for the actual site conditions – getting this right is the difference between a surface that performs well for fifteen years and one that starts holding water and shifting within a few seasons.

Yes, particularly in Ladner and parts of Tsawwassen. We assess soil conditions and water table depth before finalising the drainage design for those areas. Sites with clay-heavy or peat-influenced soil profiles require a more carefully engineered sub-base than a standard Lower Mainland installation – if drainage is under-engineered here, the surface will reflect that within a few seasons.
In higher-elevation areas, natural slope helps water exit the sub-base. In Delta’s low-lying areas, there’s minimal natural runoff gradient, so the drainage layer has to be designed to move water horizontally to a discharge point rather than simply relying on downward percolation. We engineer for that constraint on every Delta sports field project.
Yes. We handle playground surfacing and sports field construction for Delta school district facilities, designing to CSA Z614 for playgrounds and to governing body specifications for sports fields.
Yes. We work across North Delta, Ladner, and Tsawwassen. Each area has different terrain and soil conditions, and we assess each site individually rather than applying the same base design across all of Delta.
