Your 1-Stop Supplier & Installer of all surfaces

British Columbia covers a wider range of outdoor conditions than most people expect, and those differences directly affect how we engineer every surface.
In the Lower Mainland, the challenge is rainfall. Metro Vancouver receives over 1,200 mm of precipitation a year, and a sub-base that can’t drain that volume will begin to fail within a season or two. Standing water degrades infill, creates uneven settlement, and shortens the life of any turf or court surface. We design our drainage systems for Lower Mainland projects around actual precipitation data for each site’s location and exposure, not a generic profile. Proper sports field drainage isn’t an upgrade here – it’s a requirement.
In the Interior – Kelowna, Kamloops, and the surrounding communities – conditions flip. Hot, dry summers are followed by cold winters, and freeze-thaw cycling through the shoulder seasons puts real mechanical stress on any improperly designed sub-base. We use aggregate profiles that allow for controlled frost movement without heaving the surface layer above.
In Northern BC around Prince George, subarctic conditions require deeper frost engineering and longer
planning windows for construction. We’re familiar with the requirements for northern projects and plan material logistics and installation schedules accordingly. The base design for a Prince George project looks quite different from a Surrey installation, and that difference matters.

Our projects don’t move from one trade to the next. We handle civil work, drainage, surfacing, and finishing under one crew and one project contract – so the people who design the drainage are the same people who install the surface above it. Every BC project gets a site-specific base design built for its location, warranty coverage after handover, and maintenance guidance so clients know what to expect long-term. For sports fields, we build to the relevant governing body specification – FIFA, World Rugby, CFL, or NCAA – and for playgrounds, we design to CSA Z614 and provide the documentation.

Rainfall in the Lower Mainland is heavy enough that a standard sub-base profile won’t drain fast enough to keep a surface performing well. We engineer drainage layers based on each site’s slope, soil type, and rainfall exposure. The goal is to move water through the base quickly enough that the surface stays firm and usable even during multi-day rain events.
Yes, significantly. Interior projects need to account for freeze-thaw cycling through the sub-base, which means different aggregate profiles compared to Lower Mainland work. Northern BC adds even deeper frost requirements. We adjust the base design for each region rather than applying a single provincial standard.
We serve the full province. Our Surrey base covers Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley quickly, and we travel regularly to the Okanagan, Vancouver Island, and Northern BC for project work.
CSA Z614 governs playground surfaces across Canada, including BC. It sets fall-height protection requirements based on equipment height. We design pour-in-place rubber and EPDM systems to those requirements and provide compliance documentation for every playground project.
Yes. We supply bulk turf, shock pad, and infill to BC-based landscapers, installers, and municipalities at contractor pricing, by pallet or project quantity.
